The Armed Forces Tribute, which opened on July 4, 2016 with a private dedication ceremony, is dedicated to each branch of the Armed Forces: the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, the Marines and the Coast Guard. The new tribute and will present our community the chance to honor the veterans and active duty service members amongst us. Many other communities around the country have various types of physical tributes to honor the Armed Forces, and this is Rancho Sahuarita's opportunity to do the same tribute.
At the Parque Del Rio amenity, resident families can also enjoy the Flamingo Splash Pad.
This splash pad is is the shape of a semi-circle, and is made up of three colors. The centerpiece of the splash park is the addition of two 12-ft tall pink flamingos, and a series of special jets built into the pad which spray water upwards out of the deck.
